Adult Education Centre Ormož is a public body established by the Municipality of Ormož that has been creating a space for knowledge, culture, and connection for more than six decades. We are a hub where people, ideas, and experiences come together, and where learning blends with social interaction to open new opportunities for personal and professional growth. Our programs include professional training, various courses, and tailor-made programs designed to meet the needs of individuals, companies, and the local community. They provide participants with practical knowledge and skills for everyday life and work. Everyone is welcome here – children, young people, adults, and seniors – regardless of profession, education, or life circumstances. We believe in the power of lifelong learning and intergenerational cooperation, creating a modern environment where knowledge is a part of culture and social engagement. We operate locally while actively participating in national and European projects. Thanks to successfully acquired project funding, most of our activities are free of charge for participants, making learning accessible to all who wish to progress. We pay special attention to young people by offering them a space to develop their potential, gain experience, and bring their ideas to life. Through events, workshops, educational programs, and projects, we encourage personal growth, collaboration, and enjoyable learning.
